I had to give myself a clip around the ear yesterday. Figuratively, at least. I had received a text from a friend asking if I wanted to catch up for coffee. Immediately I thought ‘No way’. My mind went to thoughts of 'Doesn’t he know I’m sick? I can’t do that. What does he expect from me?’, so I texted back and declined. I was too tired to see him. I have to rest. I’ve got Big-C for God’s sake. It’s a big deal.
