There’s no sign above the front door saying “Women Only”, but men be warned: Entering Louis Sergeant Sweet Couture one recent Sunday afternoon, I found myself the only male in the crowded, noisy room. Noting the tiara and bridal veil on the young woman holding court at a long table nearby, I realised that through no fault of my own, I’d become the rooster at a hen party.
