The Oregon State University study of married employees found those who prioritised sex at home unknowingly gave themselves a next-day advantage at work, where they were more likely to immerse themselves in their tasks and enjoy their work lives.
University associate professor Keith Leavitt said it turns out that people having a “spring in their step” is a real thing.
