For 20-odd years – until 2012, when its upper Willis St premises were shut down as an earthquake risk – Yeung Shing toddled along as a mom'n'pop Kiwi Cantonese corner, offering the usual litany: chicken corn soup, chow mein, sweet and sour pork, orange beef, lemon chicken, egg foo young and “bami goreng” made with curry powder.
