Take away a little bit of homegrown creativity with your caffeine hit, as local talent comes to the humble paper coffee cup.
The limited edition design by Luiggi Riccio, a student of Massey University of Wellington College of Creative Arts, will be on 8oz takeouts from L'affare for the next two months.
The coffee company approached the Open Lab, an enterprise within the Design School at Massey, for ideas and Riccio's illustration featuring faceless figures dancing in a rain of coffee beans, was picked from an array sketches in a competition.
“L'affare were looking for fresher thinking, creative ideas. Something conceptual and different," explains Sarah Ny, Open Lab Senior Designer.
