Recipe: Schiacciata by Sam Mannering

The story behind this recipe is rather romantic. It is traditionally eaten in the autumn in Umbria and Tuscany in Italy when the grapes are being harvested. The raisins represent the previous year’s harvest and the fresh grapes the new fruit.
