I’m always sceptical of people who claim they like to eat “just a light salad” to keep them going. If I ate “just a light salad” after a hard day of working at the metaphorical coal face, plus the extra shifts of wife-ing and mother-ing, I’d be chewing my own arm off before bedtime.
