Whether they’re warm from the oven, tough as a tranche of slate, or soaked in tea, Anzac biscuits are extra special here in New Zealand.
They’re inextricably linked to their namesake, the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (Anzac), established in WWI because they travelled so well and fed the troops - they’ve aged well too.
