It feels like we have had a bit of a wild start to 2018, what with the glorious weather we enjoyed in the lead-up to Christmas, then the thundery storms and rain around the country. Both situations seemed to call for festive indulgence, either partying at the beach or hunkering down somewhere dry with endless cups of tea and biscuits or cake with Monopoly.
