Recipe: Glazed banana french toast sandwich

For a cafe style brunch with the wow factor: peel 4 bananas and cut into thin diagonal slices. Place on an oven tray and sprinkle generously with icing sugar and cinnamon to taste. Grill until starting to caramalise. Mix 2 eggs with a little milk flavoured with honey and a good pinch of cinnamon. Cut 8 generous slices of banana bread, dip into the egg mixture on both sides then cook in an oiled non-stick pan until golden on both sides.
