Last weekend, within the space of just a few hours, the results of two major beer competitions were announced live over the internet. First, the Brewers Guild of New Zealand streamed its 2016 awards ceremony live from Auckland, then the results of this year’s Great American Beer Festival were beamed-in live from Denver, Colorado.
